The Yakima Amateur Radio Club and Yakima County Radio Amateurs are proud to announce the upcoming Yakima Valley Hamfest 2026, taking place at the Yakima County Fairgrounds. Radio enthusiasts from across Central Washington, the Palouse, and the Tri-Cities region are invited to join in for a full day dedicated to amateur radio technology, fellowship, and technical education.
This year’s event will feature an expanded commercial vendor hall, a sprawling outdoor tailgating swap meet, and live technical seminars covering digital voice modes, HF antenna modeling, and solar power systems for field operations. Volunteer examiners will host walk-in license testing sessions throughout the morning for Technician, General, and Amateur Extra class candidates.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in transmitter hunting demonstrations and connect with Eastern Washington ARRL section leadership.
